Thank you Jake Vaughan for your professional services. I’ve sold and purchased many properties, and I can say unequivocally that no real estate sales agent has ever brought the kind of energy, industry and expertise as you have brought into selling our property. I have no doubt that your preparing and staging of our property and your toil and vigor was the largest and most important factor in its quick and successful sale. Mahalo and our best wishes for your continued success.

In the 19th century the area was a farm of King Kalākaua, where ostriches roamed wild over the mountain side. It later became the site of a carnation farm for funeral flowers. Now a mix of residential area with a small business district (mainly restaurants and service industries), it is located in the urbanized Honolulu region near Kahala and Diamond Head. Its name comes from Ka imu kī meaning “The ti root oven.” It was once the site of many ti root ovens. Ti roots were baked and made a sweet desert.
